Role Description

Do you have a knack for organization and enjoy supporting community programs?

We are seeking a volunteer to assist and support the organization's operation of the Stanley Park Ball program by ensuring the equipment is in good working condition & that teams have what they need to succeed.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ● Ensure the program has the necessary equipment before the start of ball season
  • ● Arrange for the repair or replacement of broken/damaged equipment as needed
  • ● Document inventory before and after the ball season, replenish as needed
  • ● Monitor and track equipment loaned to teams and participants


Time Commitment:

  • ● This position runs from September to July with an option for renewal each year
  • ●  The position requires a higher time commitment in April, May, and September (approximately 3 to 4 hours per week) and less time in the other months


Qualifications:

  • ● T-Ball/Baseball experience is a strong asset
  • ● Experience with sports equipment procurement is an asset
  • ● Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • ● Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
  • ● Working knowledge of Google Suite for communication purposes
