Role Description
Do you have a knack for organization and enjoy supporting community programs?
We are seeking a volunteer to assist and support the organization's operation of the Stanley Park Ball program by ensuring the equipment is in good working condition & that teams have what they need to succeed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- ● Ensure the program has the necessary equipment before the start of ball season
- ● Arrange for the repair or replacement of broken/damaged equipment as needed
- ● Document inventory before and after the ball season, replenish as needed
- ● Monitor and track equipment loaned to teams and participants
Time Commitment:
- ● This position runs from September to July with an option for renewal each year
- ● The position requires a higher time commitment in April, May, and September (approximately 3 to 4 hours per week) and less time in the other months
Qualifications:
- ● T-Ball/Baseball experience is a strong asset
- ● Experience with sports equipment procurement is an asset
- ● Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- ● Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
- ● Working knowledge of Google Suite for communication purposes
