Role Description

Bring your  tech and design skills to the Stanley Park Ball program!

We are seeking a volunteer to assist and support the organization's operation of the Stanley Park Ball website and online registration portal.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ● Maintaining and updating the website and RAMP Interactive online registration platform
  •      ⸰ Updating website with scores and important updates in a timely manner
  •      ⸰ Updating website with promotional material (team sponsors)
  • ● Maintain an ongoing list of website maintenance needs and provide progress updates to the Stanley Park Ball Board member
  • ●  Ensure the website and RAMP platform meet security requirements
  • ● Respond to volunteers and instructors' support requests as needed via phone, in-person, or video chat at a mutually agreed upon time
  • ● Attend committee meetings monthly from September to December and biweekly from January to April (virtual evenings)


Time Commitment:

  • ● This position runs from September to July with an option for renewal each year
  • High need months include December to March for registration and during ball season (beginning of May until end of June)
  • ●  The position requires approximately 4 - 6 hours per month


Qualifications:

  • ● Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • ● Post-secondary experience in Website Development is an asset
  • ● Working knowledge of RAMP Interactive website/software is an asset
  • ● Working knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office
  • ● Experience in website maintenance is a definite asset
  • ● Some knowledge of baseball is an asset
